A new article has been published by Infrastructure Intelligence. Written by Didem Gurdur Broo and Jennifer Schooling, this article suggests that if we applied future thinking, scenario building, and foresight activities to imagine and understand the future ahead of us, and if we proactively sought to adopt emerging technologies, and re-evaluate processes, organisational structures, and projects from a systematic perspective, this pandemic could be a tipping point to a more sustainable future.

Smart infrastructure has the potential to revolutionise how infrastructure is delivered, managed and automatically operated which is something CSIC has been researching. So now that so much has changed regarding our lives, is now the time to investigate introducing some of these strategies?
