Cambridge Centre for Smart Infrastructure and Construction

Transforming infrastructure through smarter information

The Centre for Smart Infrastructure and Construction (CSIC) is funded by a grant from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) and Innovate UK as well as partnership funding from our industry and industry support partner organisations.

CSIC is hosted at The National Research Facility for Infrastructure Sensing (NRFIS) which is housed in the new Civil Engineering Building on the West Cambridge Campus. NRFIS is part of the UK Collaboratorium for Research on Infrastructure and Cities (UKCRIC) portfolio of research and innovation facilities funded through the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC).

The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) funds research and postgraduate training in engineering and the physical sciences at universities and other organisations throughout the UK.
