Cambridge Centre for Smart Infrastructure and Construction

Transforming infrastructure through smarter information

Following the successful launch of the two-day Executive Education Course in Leadership of Urban Digital Innovation for Public Value (LeadUP) last September, the Centre for Smart Infrastructure and Construction (CSIC) is excited to announce the course re-run on 26-27 February 2024.

The LeadUP course is tailored for senior executives and professionals in leadership roles within public and private organizations engaged in digital innovation projects, with a specific focus on the urban built environment. The program aims to equip participants with fresh perspectives and competencies essential for steering digital innovation projects responsibly in connected places and cities.

The course's curriculum is rooted in the insights derived from the five-year-long Digital Cities for Change (DC2) research program. Emphasizing a novel competency framework, the program fosters leadership, competency-building, and responsible digital innovation in connected places and cities.

The course will be delivered in person and participants will have a unique opportunity to learn from specialists, researchers, and lecturers. The learning experience will be enriched through peer interaction, including group exercises and discussions both in class and during breaks over lunch or other downtimes.

Prospective participants are encouraged to enroll by the deadline of 2 February 2024. Given the limited availability of spaces, applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
