New Partner Relations and Industry Liaison at CSIC to increase partner benefits

CSIC welcomes Sandy Yatteau to the team as Partner Relations and Industry Liaison. Sandy will be supporting our Industry Partners by strengthening the links between CSIC's research programmes and the work of its members.

With her background in project and contract management for industry and within the University, Sandy will continue to increase the industry reach of CSIC and work to enhance the benefits offered to its Industry Partners.

"CSIC has a wealth of expertise both in-house and within the broader University context, and I am looking forward to developing new links so CSIC can maximise the support to its members. CSIC’s achievements to date are a direct result of its remit to collaborate with industry and this success is underwritten by the drive and commitment shown by an ever-broadening field of Industry Partners,” said Sandy.

“We have plans to enhance the ways in which we work with industry colleagues to drive innovation, including new task-focused working groups, closed LinkedIn forums around specific issues facing the industry as well as providing a hub for a range of professionals to come together to discuss and tackle shared challenges. Collaboration is the key.”

CSIC will continue to offer training, including bespoke workshops, presenting new techniques and toolsets to enable our partners to maintain leadership in their field.

Sandy will be in touch with all CSIC’s industry partners in the coming months and is looking forward to discussing additional ways of working together to shape shared success. If, in the meantime, any current or prospective Industry Partners would like to suggest ways in which CSIC could support their work, please get in touch.

Email Sandy at csic-liaison@eng.cam.ac.uk or telephone (0)1223 765924.
