Mehdi will present CSattAR, a ground-breaking photogrammetric system that offers a new way of monitoring the structural integrity and condition of assets. CSattAR is a highly precise photogrammetric technique used to monitor structural movement at a fraction of the cost of alternative conventional systems.
As a preview to Mehdi’s talk there is a 60-second interview with him talking about CSattAR on the Ground Engineering Instrumentation and Monitoring website which can be read here.
CSattAR monitoring system, developed by Mehdi, has already attracted industry acclaim and was shortlisted for three NCE Tunnelling & Underground Space Awards last year including Design Innovation of the Year, Ground Investigation and Monitoring Award and Technical Innovation of the Year.
“As a tunnel engineer myself, I can see the benefits CSattAR can bring to the ways we monitor and design tunnels,” says Mehdi. “I am looking forward to showcasing the system at the Ground Engineering Instrumentation and Monitoring conference.”
