Ian Williams, Dept of Architecture will give a presentation on Demand Forecasting for Asset Management. Colleagues, Rachel Cuthbert and Dr Raj Srinivasanan will follow with a presentation on Whole Life Management of Infrastructure Assets.  These presentations are part of the Centre for Smart Infrastructure and Construction Series.

This one-day meeting on "Materials Discovery" will again bring together leading scientists from around the world to explore some of the recent breakthroughs that reveal just how unexpected the physical world turns out to be. Speakers will cover a wide gamut of topics from 'electronics' through to 'life sciences'.

A one-day networking and information-sharing workshop, to be held in London on 26 September 2013. This workshop will bring together WINES grant holders – who will have an opportunity to update attendees on progress and developments arising from WINES – and representatives of relevant UK companies, alongside EPSRC staff and TSB Technologists.

Terry Morgan CBE, FREng, Chairman of Crossrail, will give a lecture supported by the IET sectors on “Crossrail - Vital Innovative British Infrastructure Delivering Long-term Economic Growth” The event is free, but registration is required.

CSIC is hosting a number of UROP students who are contributing to the wider collaborative research being undertaken in the Centre.  Students will give a presentation on the research they are contributing to and promises to be informative.
