Dr Manu Sasidharan, Research Associate, University of Cambridge.

A whole-life-cycle approach to cost-effective asset management of railways. Manu researches on cross-cutting themes of engineering and economics to aid the smart operation and management of transport infrastructure.  This talk will introduce a first-of-its-kind decision making system to adopt asset management strategies that are sustainable, holistic, risk-aversive and cost-effective for our railways.

The rise of the 'efficient librarian' – regulation in the digital world Sue is a planning solicitor with a keen interest in digital technologies and their impact on the planning system. This talk will outline the existing regulatory context of city planning and will explore how it could be adapted to facilitate the adoption of digital planning policies and practices.

The session will end with an interactive Q&A managed via Zoom.
