Cambridge Centre for Smart Infrastructure and Construction

Transforming infrastructure through smarter information

The vast majority of UK travel is by road, however in recent years we have seen a decline in maintenance and increase in the number of roads in urgent need of attention. To tackle current issues, the UK Government has committed to a record £6 billion funding until 2021.

On 20 April, ICE Roads conference will bring together all the major stakeholders in the sector allowing in-depth analysis of performance, investment priorities, future demand and technological change.

The conference programme, designed by expert engineers, aims to equip attendees with the key information and contacts to address the current issues and plan for the future.

Delegates will:

  • Explore the challenges and opportunities in maintaining and upgrading the UK’s road network
  • Meet and question leading experts and participate in panel discussions
  • Hear best-practice case studies from major industry stakeholders
  • Have business and networking opportunities with senior decision makers attending the conference and drinks reception
  • Enjoy a collaboratively backed event from a non-profit, prestigious engineering institution in the heart of Westminster

ICE Roads 2016 is recommended for:
