Working with CSIC offers Partners a range of benefits, including targeting new market opportunities and developing solutions to industry challenges. Partners are invited to provide input on the development of policy and standards around innovation, to collaborate in field deployments of new technologies, and attend CSIC workshops, and symposia.

The CSIC Partner Strategy Day, held in November, was attended by 65 Partners and CSIC researchers who participated in four discussion sessions that brought focus to: Infrastructure Design, Assessment and Construction; Asset Management and Operation; Cities and Sensing and Measurement. The event gave Partners the opportunity to highlight specific areas of interest and concern which will help to inform CSIC’s agenda and shape future collaborative projects.

The next CSIC event Cybersecurity for Smart Infrastructure workshop, on 12 January, will discuss the implications of cybersecurity and explain some of the support and solutions available. For further information see: https://www-smartinfrastructure.eng.cam.ac.uk/news-and-events
