Innovation in Digital Infrastructure Condition Monitoring Event

CSIC, Innovate UK and KTN Built Environment will co-host an event, Innovation in Digital Infrastructure Condition Monitoring, on 15 April at King’s College, University of Cambridge.  

The aim of the conference is to bring together infrastructure professionals including asset owners and managers with development companies, and service providers, including SMEs, who offer innovative technologies in digital infrastructure condition monitoring. 

The event will provide a platform to exchange ideas and find ways of encouraging innovative practice. A number of current research outputs from the University of Cambridge will be shared and speakers include:

Funding our innovation - the key to protecting our infrastructure

Supply chains in construction and infrastructure are notoriously complex and can systematically discourage the adoption of new technologies and approaches. However, a number of initiatives exist to encourage SMEs to engage in the construction supply chain. 

This event will highlight some recent examples of innovative procurement practices, successfully deployed new technologies and data management solutions implemented to enhance infrastructure condition monitoring and the cost-effective management of assets.  It will explore how innovation can be unlocked and embedded, and help to achieve the goals of investors, asset owners and managers.
