Cambridge Centre for Smart Infrastructure and Construction

Transforming infrastructure through smarter information

digital cities

As part of CSIC's Digital Cities for Change (DC2) project, CSIC is undertaking data collection exercise based on expert knowledge to better understand the various digital tasks and competencies of built environment professionals. DC2 is a leading research programme at the Centre for Smart Infrastructure and Construction (CSIC), University of Cambridge, funded by The Ove Arup Foundation (TOAF). The Programme’s mission is to develop insights, tools and training to enable city managers to utilise built environment data to inform decision-making, and bring together infrastructure and technology to deliver better services and outcomes for people and the environment.

CSIC is inviting professionals working at the intersection of digitalisation and the built environment to complete an online questionnaire. Your responses will be used to support the development of a Competence Framework for city managers and built environment professionals to enable them to lead and govern responsible digital innovation in the built environment in cities. As such the Competence Framework will bring long-term benefits to all stakeholders.

The questionnaire is composed of three sections. Completing the questionnaire will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Participation is on a voluntary basis and participants are able  to withdraw from completing the questionnaire at any time. All information in the questionnaire is collected on an anonymised basis, without identifying the individual.

Please be sure to press 'I confirm to submit' at the bottom of the end page to ensure your answers are successfully collected.
