Transforming infrastructure through smarter information

CSIC Phase 1 Industry and Knowledge Partners

CSIC works closely with leading industry organisations, engaging in collaborative research projects, deployments, case studies and scale-up and standardisation activities to innovate the infrastructure and construction industry. Our Phase 1 (2011 - 2016)industry partners are listed below.

CSIC Industry Partners - owners

Infrastructure clients (owners and operators) - Responsible for commissioning new infrastructure, and/or with a lifetime responsibility for the assets; usually ultimately responsible for the funding and financial performance of the asset throughout its life.

CSIC Industry Partners - asset managers

Designers, contractors, asset managers – responsible for part of the lifecycle of the asset, typically responsible for technical and physical performance of the asset, rather than for funding and lifetime financial performance.

CSIC Industry Partners - tech

Technology and information supply chain - providers of technology solutions to either of the above; experts in their technology but not necessarily familiar with the specific characteristics and requirements of the infrastructure and construction industries.

Knowledge transfer

Knowledge transfer is key to the work of CSIC. We develop bespoke training to enable our partners to adopt new technologies and frameworks, as well as jointly delivering projects for third parties when our solutions are at the scale-up and standardisation stage. CSIC also welcomes secondees from industry to work with its team.
CSIC Industry Partners - knowledge partners

Our Knowledge Partners include research and technology organisations, professional institutions, universities and other organisations who can help inform, disseminate and, where appropriate, deliver the work of CSIC.
